HGV Class 2 Drivers – Flatbed Work 🚚
Ilkeston £14.00p/h
No Handball
Opportunity to upskill to Class 1!
We’re looking for reliable and skilled HGV Class 2 drivers to join a friendly team in the Ilkeston area. In this role you will be working with reputable, global logistics company on a large contract to deliver to customers around the UK on a flatbed truck. In this role you will make on average 4 drops per day, however dependent on run this could be as little as 1 and as many as 8. NO HANDBALL required. On this contract, our client also offers an upskill programme from Class 2 to Class 1 after 3 -6 months of service.
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday.
Start times: between 04:00 – 06:00 dependent on run
1-3 nights out per week (£26.20 night out allowance)
Genuine temp to perm opportunity after qualifying time period.
Overtime paid after 51.75 hours (unpaid breaks)
What We’re Looking For:
Ideally experienced drivers, but we will consider newly qualified Class 2 drivers with relevant driving experience.
Valid UK Diving licence with, CPC and Tacho .
No more than 6 points (no DD,DR or IN endorsements).
A professional, safety-focused approach.
Good communication skills.
