Job Description
To drive and load recycling vehicles. Some days will be expected to load vehicles instead of driving and loading the vehicles.
To work Bank Holidays and overtime when required.
Driving waste vehicles around Torfaen and assisting with the collection of waste
This role is paid at £15:47 after the initial 12 week period with increments of pay added annually.
Good chance of a full time role with the Authority if placement is successful.
Experience
· Considerable experience and a working knowledge of waste and recycling collection activities and processes.
· Experience of multi point driving activities and waste & recycling collection driving duties.
· Experience of customer contact and knowledge of personnel safety issues in a customer environment.
· Experience and a working knowledge of H&S systems.
