Job Description

Class 2 Dustcart Driver

We are currently recruiting for experienced Class 2 Dustcart Drivers to join a busy waste and recycling operation.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 4:30am – 1:00pm

This is a hands-on Driver/Loader role, so you will be required to assist with loading duties as well as driving the refuse collection vehicle.

Duties include:

  * Driving a Class 2 refuse/dustcart vehicle

  * Completing scheduled refuse and recycling collections

  * Assisting loaders with manual collection duties

  * Carrying out daily vehicle checks

  * Reporting any defects or safety concerns

  * Ensuring collections are completed safely and efficiently

  * Following all site and road safety procedures

  * Working outdoors in all weather conditions

Requirements:

  * Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence

  * Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

  * Previous Class 2 driving experience

  * Refuse or waste industry experience is desirable

  * Comfortable carrying out manual loading duties

  * Reliable with a good attitude towards health and safety

Full-time, Monday to Friday work with consistent early shifts and ongoing opportunities
