Job Description
A&G Resourcing Ltd is currently seeking skilled HGV Class 2 Tanker Drivers (NON ADR) to join our reputable client in Avonmouth, a leader in the production of dry silo mortars, renders, screeds, and kiln-dried sand for the construction industry. Our client operates across England, Wales, and Scotland, providing essential materials to the construction sector.
Temp: £16.50 per hour, OT £19.50 per hour (12 weeks)
Perm: £38,765 per annum, Time and a half - Saturdays & Double time -Sundays & Bank Holidays
Job Overview:
* Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with optional overtime on Saturdays
* Shift Times: AM shifts starting at 5:00 AM, with an average shift length of 10 hours
* Guaranteed Weekly Hours once perm: 48 hours
* Temp to Perm Opportunity: Start on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent role
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver dry materials to various construction sites across the region
* Complete between 1 to 3 drops per shift
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and operational standards
* Maintain high standards of customer service while delivering materials
* Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained and compliant with all regulatory requirements
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
* HGV Class 2 Tanker experience preferred, but training will be provided
* Clean UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points
* At least 1 year of HGV driving experience (required for insurance purposes)
* Valid CPC and Tacho Card
* Knowledge of WTD (Working Time Directive) and drivers' hours regulations
* Strong communication skills and a flexible, can-do attitude
