About the Role:
We are currently seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to cover ad hoc night shifts for long-distance trunking work. This role is perfect for drivers looking for flexible work with steady, straightforward runs, typically just 1 or 2 drops per shift. You’ll be operating both automatic and manual vehicles, depending on assignment.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out long-distance night trunking across the UK
*
Complete 1 or 2 drops per shift with a professional and timely approach
*
Conduct vehicle checks and ensure roadworthiness before each shift
*
Accurately complete delivery paperwork and any required digital records
*
Adhere to all driving laws, tachograph regulations, and working time directives
*
Represent the client and agency in a professional manner at all times
Requirements:
*
Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
*
Minimum 6 months HGV driving experience (preferred but not essential)
*
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
*
Flexibility to work ad hoc night shifts
*
Confidence driving both manual and automatic HGVs
*
Good geographical knowledge of UK roads
*
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
