Job Description

Do you have at least 3 months' HGV Class 1 driving experience and are looking for regular work, reliable shifts and great rates of pay? 
 
We're recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a busy logistics and distribution operation in Sittingbourne. 
 
You'll play an important role in transporting goods between warehouses, suppliers and customers, helping to ensure deliveries are completed safely and on time. With a variety of shift patterns available and the opportunity to secure a long-term position, this could be a great fit for drivers looking for stability and flexibility. 
 
Various shift patterns and start times available to suit different schedules.

Monday to Friday days £17.37 
Monday to Friday nights £20.84 
Saturday and Sunday days £19.11 
Saturday and Sunday nights £22.58 
 
Days paid 06:00 - 17:59 
Nights paid 18:00 - 05:59 
 
Potential hourly rate, consolidated rates £19.00 - £25.00 per hour 
 
Guaranteed work on fixed shift patterns all year round with no cancellations 

What You'll Be Doing 
 
- Driving articulated Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and professionally 
- Planning and following assigned routes to ensure deliveries are completed on time 
- Complying with road safety regulations, driver hours rules and traffic laws 
- Carrying out daily vehicle inspections (walkaround checks) before and after each journey 
- Transporting goods between warehouses, suppliers and customer locations 
- Assisting with loading and unloading when required, ensuring goods are handled safely 
- Maintaining accurate tachograph records and completing any required paperwork 

You'll fit right in if you: 
 
- Have at least 3 months' Class 1 driving experience 
- Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence 
- Have a valid Driver CPC qualification 
- Hold a Digital Tachograph Card 
- Take pride in working safely and delivering on time 
- Are reliable, professional and self-motivated
