HGV Driver (HGV/LGV) – Tonbridge
Salary: £150 Per Day
Hours: 48 Hours – 4am – 2:15pm
Working Schedule: Monday to Friday
Contract Length: 3 Month
Location: Tonbridge Commercial, TN9 1PP
Job Details
Role Overview
There is no need for previous experience, as training will be provided.
This could possibly become a permanent position for the right person
The post holder will be responsible for driving a waste collection vehicle and working alongside a crew to collect household waste,
Key Responsibilities
Drive to scheduled collection locations in line with planned routes.
Carry out and record daily vehicle checks in accordance with the Driver Operator Handbook.
Ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately and submitted daily.
Comply with traffic laws, safety regulations, and weight restrictions.
Supervise and support crew members during collection activities.
Ensure roads and collection points are left clean and clear, including cleaning any spillages.
Handle missed bin reports and ensure completion of assigned work tasks.
Use the onboard system (Echo) correctly and consistently.
