Job Description
If you have no experience driving a splitter gearbox manual you will be placed on £14 phr for a period of time until fully up to speed with driving them otherwise IF you can drive them please apply and you will be placed on the rates stated below*experince is essential.
£17 P/HR = SINGLE SKIP LORRY/ FLATBED / ROLLON
£18 P/HR = TWIN SKIP LORRY
Duties:
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport goods and materials to specified destinations
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while on the road
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery details
Experience:
- CHAIN SKIP / ROLLON WORK
- Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations governing commercial driving
- Ability to operate and maintain various types of trucks and trailers
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
