Job Description

HGV Class 1 Drivers – Sherburn in Elmet, Leeds
Salary: From £19.12 - £54.27 per hour | Location: Sherburn in Elmet, Leeds | Role: HGV Class 1 Driver
We are recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers at our Wincanton site in Sherburn in Elmet, Leeds. The role involves store delivery work for a well-known supermarket, delivering ambient, chilled and frozen goods. Competitive pay rates, guaranteed 8 hours per day, and plenty of overtime available.

Shift Start Times Available:
  * Days (04:00 – 08:00)
  * Nights (21:00 – 02:00)
Weekly Pay (55 hrs/week, PAYE):
  * Days: approx. £1,310.33 / week (£23.82 / hr) → circa £68,137 / year
  * Nights: approx. £1,514.98 / week (£27.55 / hr) → circa £78,779 / year

Requirements:
  * HGV C+E Class 1 license (minimum 12 months C+E required)
  * Full HGV C+E licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements
  * Digital Tacho & Driver Qualification Cards
  * Strong understanding of Driver’s Hours, regulations, and Working Time Directive
  * Excellent geographical knowledge
  * Customer-focused attitude
