Job Description
We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 & 2 Drivers for day/night shift multidrop work. This role involves two trips per day from our depot, with an average of 6–10 deliveries in the morning and 5–6 collections in the afternoon.
You’ll be working with an electric or manual pump truck and using a tail-lift for kerbside deliveries. An EDC/scanner will be required to record deliveries and collections accurately.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete daily deliveries and collections as scheduled (typically 2 trips per shift).
* Conduct 6–10 deliveries on the first run, followed by 5–6 collections on the second run.
* Use electric/manual pump truck and tail-lift for unloading at kerbside.
* Operate handheld scanner for EDC and record-keeping.
* Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure vehicle is kept clean and roadworthy.
* Follow all road transport and safety legislation.
Compliance Requirements
* Minimum 24 months of HGV Class 2 driving experience.
* At least 30 days of HGV driving in the last 90 days.
* Maximum of 6 points on your driving licence (no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements).
* PAYE drivers only – no Ltd or umbrella company arrangements.

* Consistent daytime work starting at 07:00.
* Competitive hourly day rate of £14.25 for Class 2 & £15ph Class 1. Class 1 nights are £16ph. PAYE only
* Regular, stable routes with known delivery and collection schedules.
* Supportive transport team and structured induction process.
Essential Requirements
* Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence or HGV Class 1 (Category C+E)
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
* Proven multidrop experience using EDC/scanner.
* Ability to operate a tail-lift and pump truck safely and efficiently.
* Good level of physical fitness and a professional, customer-focused approach.
