Job Description
HGV Class 1 Driver
Monday – Friday
Starting between 01:00 – 06:00 (4 on 2 off)
Night shift available also
Temporary on going
£17.51 per hour
Solihul
We are currently looking for Class 1 drivers to join a busy distribution warehouse for store to store multidrop deliveries in Solihul.
As an HGV Driver you must have the following:
* In date C+E Licence
* In date CPC Card and tacho.
* Have no more than 6 points on licence
* Minimum of 6 months experience.
* Must have multidrop experience
Responsibilities:
* Complete delivery drops to shops.
* Unload palletised goods from the vehicle using a Powered Pallet Truck or a Manual Pump Truck if Powered Pallet Trucks are not available.
* Collect waste and other items from the shop to return to the depot.
* Conduct daily vehicle checks
* Have a safe and efficient approach to driving.
The ideal driver will be courteous and have great customer service skills with a can-do attitude.
In return, you can expect:
* 28 days holiday pro rata PAYE
* Weekly pay
* 24/7 on call support
* Full training and on-site induction
This position is commutable from Birmingham and Coventry!
