Job Description
Our clients in Swindon are looking for HGV Class 1 Day Drivers. We are looking for drivers to work anything 1 to 5 days per week, so we can accommodate almost all working patterns that fit you.
We have driving assessments available immediately.
Duties for a HGV Driver:
* Motorcycle deliveries (Manual handling will be required)
* Day trunk runs (2-3 per shift dependent on location)
* Vehicle will be pre loaded.
* Offloading the Motorbikes.
* Driving in a safe, responsible manner on behalf of the client you are representing
* Ensuring all paperwork and documentation is completed correctly
* Follow driver working time directive at all times.
* This will be a customer facing role, so must have good communication skills
Requirements:
* Hold Full UK Digi Cards
* Good Knowledge of working time directive
* Maximum of 6 points on your licence
* Must be okay with Physical work
* Good communication skills
* Held your Class 1 license for a minimum of 2 years
Pay:
* £17.00ph
Start Times
* 06:00am
* Optional shift patterns – Mon-Fri or adhoc
