A respected independent builder’s merchant serving the Southeast since 1984. With a commitment to quality products and exceptional customer service, the largest independent merchant group in the South of England.
We’re expanding our delivery team at our Glastonbury Branch. We are looking for a dependable HGV Driver to help us continue delivering excellent service to our trade and retail customers.
Duties
Your duties will include but not limited to the following:
* Transporting goods and materials to designated locations
* Ensuring safe and timely delivery of products
* Adhering to all relevant traffic laws and regulations
* Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
* Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
* Assisting with loading and unloading of goods when necessary
Requirements:
* Class 1 driving licence
* Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
* Excellent driving skills
* Strong attention to detail and time management skills
The Hours:
Week 1: Monday to Friday - 07:30 to 17:00
Week 2 : Monday to Friday - 07:30 to 17:00 & alternate Saturdays, 08:00-12:00
