HGV Mechanic (Tipton)

Hours: Monday to Friday (Day Shift)

We are looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our Tipton-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking to grow their career within a reputable main dealer environment. You’ll be responsible for maintaining HGVs to the highest standards while delivering top-level service to customers.
Key Responsibilities of an HGV Mechanic
Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs to manufacturer standards
Carry out diagnostics and fault finding using industry tools and techniques
Ensure all work is completed within agreed timeframes and quality standards
Follow warranty procedures and keep accurate records of work and parts used
Liaise with the parts team to ensure correct replacement parts are fitted
Requirements for an HGV Mechanic
Proven experience as an HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic in a dealership or workshop environment (preferred)
Level 3 technical qualification in HGV maintenance and repair
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
Full UK Class 1 or 2 HGV driving licence (desirable)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
