A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter to join a professional and supportive team at a well-established site in Avonmouth. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing HGVs to high industry standards, with the backing of a skilled workshop and management team.
Key Responsibilities of an HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter
Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs in line with industry regulations
Diagnose mechanical faults accurately and complete repairs efficiently
Work collaboratively with your team to maintain workshop efficiency
Accurately complete all job records and documentation
Follow all health and safety guidelines and ensure vehicle compliance
Skills and Qualifications for an HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter
Essential
Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance or equivalent
Proven experience working on HGVs
Full UK driving licence
Good diagnostic and communication skills
Desirable
HGV Class 1 licence
Experience with diagnostic equipment and repair systems
Positive attitude with a desire to learn and develop
