HGV Mechanic
Nights - Monday to Friday (Apply online only)
Salary – OTE £61,264.00 per annum (basic including Night Shift Pay £55,264.00)
Overtime available – paid at 1 ½.
Efficiency/Productivity bonus up to £6,000 per annum available on reaching targets (paid monthly) HGV Mechanic (Monday to Friday nights)
Skilled and flexible HGV Mechanic required for a varied role at our Heathrow location.
Working as part of the Heathrow Team, you will be responsible for completing routine maintenance inspections, servicing, general repairs right up to in-depth diagnosis, gearbox, engine replacements – wherever your skillset will take you. We will also commit to developing you further to increase your knowledge of our Brands.
On Target Realistic Earnings OTE £61,264.00 per annum (basic including Night Shift Pay £55,264.00)
Basic hours are 40 per week Monday to Friday night shift (Apply online only)
Overtime usually available
Weekends and outside basic hours paid at Overtime Rate x 1.5
Additional efficiency bonus up to £6,000 per annum available on reaching target (paid monthly)
Overalls, Uniform and PPE all supplied and updatedHGV Mechanic responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
• Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
HGV Mechanic requirements:
• You will need to have experience as a vehicle technician and a relevant and up to date qualification.
• You will be a person who takes great pride in your work.
• You will have incredible attention to detail and an eye for spotting things others cannot.
• You will need a full valid UK driving licence.
• A stocked toolbox that you can use for work.
