Responsibilities in your new role as HGV Mechanic
As an HGV Mechanic, you will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet is compliant with Roadworthiness Regulations. You will maintain fleet compliance through regular service inspections, prepare vehicles for MOT testing, and respond to defect reporting processes with precision. Effective communication with all teams is essential to ensure seamless transportation operations.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
We are looking for someone who exhibits a high level of problem-solving skills and excels in teamwork. Excellent communication skills and flexibility is crucial for success in this role. You should have the ability to perform to high standards and typically hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Repair and Maintenance.
Being IT literate is required, as well as previous experience with commercial vehicles. Demonstrating knowledge and experience as an HGV Mechanic is essential along with having worked in a same or similar role.
