£46,730 – £50,547 + overtime + excellent benefits
4 on / 4 off – Days (6am–6pm)

We’re on the lookout for two skilled and motivated HGV Mechanics / Technicians to become part of our dynamic airside maintenance team — keeping Heathrow moving behind the scenes
HGV Mechanic / Plant Mechanic What You’ll Be Doing
As an HGV Mechanic / Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our fleet of ground service equipment (GSE) runs safely and efficiently.
You’ll work on everything from aircraft tugs, towing tractors, and baggage elevators to other specialist airport vehicles — no two days are ever the same.
HGV Mechanic / Plant Mechanic your duties will include:
Servicing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of GSE equipment
Diagnosing faults and carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs
Performing planned and preventative maintenance (PPM)
Completing all paperwork to a high standard
Liaising with internal teams to keep operations running smoothly
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with H&S standards

HGV Mechanic / Plant Mechanic -About You
Qualified HGV Mechanic / Technician (or strong background in light vehicle or GSE maintenance)
Experience working with ground service equipment is a plus
Must be eligible for an airside pass – 5 years of checkable work history required
Able to pass a basic criminal record check
A proactive, safety-conscious team player with great problem-solving skills
