HGV Technician – Monday to Friday Shift
Location: Marchington
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £19.29 per hour + up to £300 monthly qualification bonus
Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday (rotating shifts: 06:00–14:30 / 09:30–18:00)

What You’ll Be Doing
Deliver high-quality servicing, maintenance and repairs in line with VOSA standards
Conduct visual inspections, fluid changes, adjustments and component replacements
Manage routine repair jobs independently and assist Systems Technicians on larger assemblies
Retrofit and commission accessories and detachable body parts
Keep your workspace and customer vehicles clean, safe and road-ready
Accurately log all work and reset onboard maintenance systems
What You’ll Need
City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance (or equivalent NVQ) – essential
Experience in a dealership or commercial workshop environment
Valid UK driving licence – essential (HGV licence desirable)
Strong diagnostic, analytical and problem-solving skills
Methodical, safety-focused approach and customer-first mindset
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
