Job Description
We are looking for a HGV class 1 night driver for double-decker trunks (depot to depot or depot to hubs). Pallet-hub experience would be advantageous but not essential.
We are offering:
· Weekday evening shifts
· Starts around 1800/1900.
· A simple registration process for HGV drivers.
· On-going work with a well know and reputable company.
· £17-18.5 per hour PAYE
· £19 per hour LTD
Essential requirements:
· Valid HGV class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence. Held for a minimum of 1 years.
· Some HGV driving experience in the UK.
· Valid driver CPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
· The ability to strap heavy pallets to ensure load safety.
· Relevant knowledge of EU driver hour rules and working time legislation.
· Over 25 for insurance purposes.
· No more than 6 points on your licence. No DR codes and no CU80 codes.
