Job Description
We’re recruiting on behalf of a manufacturing client for an experienced HGV Paint Sprayer to join a busy production team on day shift. This is an on-site role focused on prepping and spraying commercial vehicle bodywork and chassis components to a high finish.
Location: Winsford, Cheshire
What you’ll be doing:
*
Prep trailer bodies, chassis and smaller components for spraying; ensure all parts meet quality standards.
*
Spray completed bodywork and fabricated chassis using appropriate techniques and manufacturer guidance.
*
Work to production targets — both independently and as part of a team.
*
Maintain high standards of housekeeping, health & safety and minimise material waste.
Skills & experience:
*
Proven experience in paint spraying, prepping and finalising (ideally within commercial vehicle or similar manufacturing).
*
Practical experience using single pack and two pack paints and following material manufacturer guidelines.
*
Consistently high standard of workmanship and ability to meet production output/quality targets.
Shift pattern & hours:
*
Day shift, Monday–Friday: 07:30 – 16:30 (early finish on Fridays)
*
39-hour week with flexible start/finish times.
