Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable multi-franchise approved commercial vehicle dealership in Caerphilly, for the position of HGV Sales Executive. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced and professional HGV Sales Executive to join a growing business and enhance their career within the motor trade.

 A HGV Sales Executive role offers competitive remuneration, excellent benefits, and the chance to work in a state-of-the-art environment covering the South Wales region (CF, NP & LD postcode areas). The successful HGV Sales Executive will be responsible for selling brand-new heavy goods vehicles, accessories, finance products, warranties, and related services to meet and exceed set targets.

Benefits:

Basic salary between £35,000 and £40,000 per annum
Uncapped 10% commission on retained profit, with potential to earn in excess of £80,000 annually

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pmHGV Sales Executive Duties:

Sell new heavy goods vehicles, accessories, finance options, warranties, and related products
Keep customers informed regarding delivery progress and resolve any delays
Handle customer queries and collect payments prior to vehicle release
Explain warranty and service arrangements and introduce customers to the Service Department
Demonstrate vehicle features and provide after-sales support
Proactively prospect for new sales through follow-ups, referrals, and other methods
Maintain accurate customer records in the database
Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs within a high-performance environmentRequirements:

Significant experience in HGV/truck sales or a similar HGV/truck rental background
Smart appearance and excellent communication skills
Resilient and highly motivated with a strong sales focus
IT literate and organised in workload management
Valid UK driving licence is essential; an HGV licence (preferably Class 1) is advantageous but not mandatory
