Job Description
HGV Technician – Ashford (London) Salary: £49,000 basic | OTE: up to £55,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shift (45 hours per week)
We are seeking an experienced and motivated HGV Technician to join our team in Ashford (London). This is a great opportunity for a skilled individual to work with a mixed fleet and enjoy excellent pay, benefits, and training opportunities.
What’s on Offer
£49,000 basic salary
OTE up to £55,000 per annum
Profit-related annual bonus of £2,000–£4,000
Class 2 HGV licence training provided (at no cost if not already held)
25 days holiday, increasing with length of service
Monday to Friday, day shifts only – no weekend work
Key Requirements
Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair – essential
Proven experience as an HGV Technician or Mechanic
Refuse vehicle experience – desirable
Class 2 HGV licence – desirable (training provided if required)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
About the Role You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a mixed fleet of heavy goods vehicles, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This is a hands-on position within a supportive and well-equipped workshop environment.
