HGV Technician
Location: Scunthorpe
Salary/Bonuses: £42,000 - £44,000 + Overtime Available
The Role
Inspect, diagnose, and repair HGVs, trailers, and associated equipment.
Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and component replacements.
Conduct MOT preparation, brake testing, and roadworthiness checks.
Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults.
Complete accurate service documentation and ensure compliance with company standards.
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment at all times.
Work a 4 on / 4 off rotating shift pattern (days and nights – 12 hours).
The Candidate
Time-served or NVQ Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
Proven experience as an HGV Technician, Fitter, or Mechanic.
Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and fault-finding abilities.
Committed to maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.
Able to work independently or as part of a professional team.
Full UK Driving Licence (HGV Class 1 or 2 beneficial but not essential).
