Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking for a rewarding opportunity in night shift operations? Our client, a reputable commercial vehicle workshop in Kidderminster, is seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join their team on a permanent night shift basis. Basic salary of £45,000 per annum, with overtime paid at time and a half

Four-night working week, Monday to Thursday, 21:30 – 08:00

Branded work uniform providedDuties of a HGV Technician:

Carrying out major and minor repairs on HGV vehicles, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained
Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance in line with manufacturer guidelines
Diagnosing vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment and planning effective repairs
Maintaining accurate workshop, service, and repair records
Supporting workshop cleanliness, safety standards, and stock management
Completing warranty paperwork and necessary documentation accurately
HGV Technicians Assist with roadside breakdowns and recovery when required
Mentoring and supporting trainee technicians within the workshopRequirements of a HGV Technician:

Level 3 qualification in HGV Vehicle Repair & Maintenance (NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds) or equivalent
Proven diagnostic and fault-finding abilities within an HGV service environment
Experience performing HGV repairs and routine servicing
Knowledge of DVSA standards, regulations, and compliance requirements
Full UK driving licence for relevant vehicle classes
