Job Description

HGV Technician – Preston
Salary: £43,500 – £44,500 per year
Shifts: Day & Night options available

We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our IRTEC-accredited workshop in Preston. This role offers competitive pay, a structured working pattern, and ongoing training in a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Diagnose, service, and repair HGVs to high standards

  * Conduct preventative maintenance and modifications

  * Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workshop

  * Complete job cards and service records accurately

  * Work collaboratively to meet operational targets

Requirements:

  * NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

  * Experience with HGVs in fleet or dealership environments

  * IT literate, safety-focused, and team player

Desirable:

  * HGV Class 1 Licence

Pay Details:

  * Day Shifts: Up to £20/hour (£43,500 per year)

  * Night Shifts: Up to £20.43/hour (£44,500 per year), 1 in 3 Sundays time and a half
