HGV Technician Vacancy – Amersham

 Our client, a reputable independent commercial vehicle workshop in Amersham, is looking to recruit a skilled HGV Technician to join their dedicated team.

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm
No weekend working
20 days' holiday plus bank holidays

Stable employment within a professional settingDuties of a HGV Technician:

Conduct repairs and routine maintenance on Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs)
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections in line with industry standards
Ensure all work complies with legal and company requirements
Maintain accurate documentation of all service and repairs
Provide technical advice and excellent customer service
Support team with technical issues as neededRequirements of a HGV Technician:

Proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role
Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
Strong diagnostic and repair skills specific to heavy vehicles
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
