Job Description

HGV Technician 
Location: Bicester 
Salary: Up to £55,000+ OTE (£44,000 Basic DOE + Bonus + Overtime) 
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (40 hours) 
  
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, family-run commercial vehicle business working from a modern, purpose-built workshop. 
You'll work on leading truck brands carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs, with the opportunity to take part in a roadside assistance rota for additional earnings.

What's on Offer: 
·Up to £55,000+ OTE 
·Basic salary up to £44,000 depending on experience 
·Monthly efficiency bonus worth up to £9,000 per year 
·Overtime paid at 1.5x 
·Bank Holidays paid at double time 
·Optional roadside assistance rota with standby payments and company vehicle 
·30 days annual leave including bank holidays, increasing with service 
·Manufacturer training and progression to Master Technician

The Role: 
·Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs 
·Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults 
·Complete roadside assistance and recovery work as part of the on-call rota (optional) 
·Ensure all work is completed safely and to manufacturer standards 
·Deliver high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service

What We're Looking For: 
·Previous experience as an HGV Technician 
·Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (preferred but not essential) 
·Time-served technicians with strong experience are encouraged to apply 
·Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills 
·HGV/LGV licence, IRTEC or roadside assistance experience advantageous but not essential
