Job Description

Job Title: HGV Technician
Location: Castle Donington
Salary: £43,000 to 44k Basic
Shift: Monday to Friday Days
Overtime: Paid at an enhanced rate

Key Responsibilities:
As part of a team of experienced HGV Technicians, you will work on a variety of commercial vehicles. Your responsibilities include:

  * Conducting vehicle inspections

  * Performing routine servicing and scheduled maintenance

  * Carrying out reactive maintenance as required

  * Preparing and presenting vehicles for MOT testing

  * Diagnosing and rectifying running defects

  * Undertaking general HGV Technician duties

Requirements:

  * Comprehensive knowledge of HGVs and trailers.

  * Industry-recognized qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3) in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair

  * Previous experience as an HGV Technician

  * HGV Licence (preferred but not essential)
