HGV Technician | Glasgow (G33)

💰 £48,000 – £58,000 per year (DOE) + Overtime

🕒 Full-Time | Permanent

An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy and well-established commercial vehicle workshop in Glasgow (G33).

This role is ideal for a skilled technician looking for strong earning potential, long-term stability, and genuine career progression within a professional and supportive workshop environment.

The Role

  * Service, maintain, and repair HGVs

  * Carry out inspections and preventative maintenance

  * Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults

  * Prepare vehicles for MOT and complete inspections

  * Complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard

  * Accurately complete job cards and service records

  * Work safely and effectively within workshop deadlines

About You

  * Previous experience as an HGV Technician, LGV Technician, Truck Technician, or Commercial Vehicle Technician

  * Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) is required

  * Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

  * Mechanical and electrical repair experience

  * Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  * Good attention to detail

  * Full UK Driving Licence preferred
