Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join a reputable commercial vehicle dealership in Northwich, Cheshire. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled HGV Technicians aiming to work within a modern, well-equipped workshop environment, contributing to a top-performing team while benefiting from a comprehensive range of employment perks.

 Our client is a well-established main dealer offering a competitive salary package with the potential to earn up to £50,000 per annum. The role operates on a 40-hour week with rotating shifts, including early, late, and alternate Saturday mornings, providing a balanced work-life arrangement. Servicing, maintaining, and repairing HGVs to manufacturer standards
Diagnosing faults using manufacturer diagnostic equipment
Preparing vehicles for MOT testing and inspections
Ensuring all work complies with DVSA and manufacturer procedures
Maintaining accurate job and repair records
Working safely within workshop health and safety guidelines
Providing roadside assistance on a rota basis
Ensuring workshop cleanliness and organisationRequirements:

Qualified HGV Technician (Level 3 qualification or equivalent preferred)
Previous experience working on commercial vehicles
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Proactive team player with a professional attitude
Full UK driving licence; HGV licence advantageous but not essential
