Job Description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading UK commercial vehicle specialist for the position of HGV Technician based in Trafford Park. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced HGV technicians to join a reputable company offering competitive pay, ongoing training, and a positive working environment.

4 on / 4 off day shift (6am–6pm), offering an excellent work–life balance

Conduct maintenance and repairs on a wide range of commercial vehicles and trailers
Diagnose faults efficiently, perform tests, and complete high-quality repairs
Manage all related documentation for warranty, retail, and contract work
Carry out preventative maintenance to reduce customer downtime
Support colleagues and undertake additional tasks as directed by the Shift SupervisorRequirements of the HGV Technician:

NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
Proven experience in diagnosing, servicing, and repairing commercial vehicles
Up-to-date manufacturer training and strong technical understanding
Organised, methodical approach with excellent attention to detail
