Position: HGV Technician
Location: Burton-On-Trent
Hours: Rotating Shifts (00:06–15:30 / 15:30–00:00) or Fixed Lates (15:30–00:00)
Salary: Up to £48,000 (Depending on qualifications and experience)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

What You’ll Bring:
A proactive, hands-on approach with a keen eye for detail
City & Guilds Level 1, 2, and 3 (or equivalent) in HGV mechanics
Solid diagnostic and fault-finding skills across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Strong knowledge of DVLA regulations and vehicle compliance standards
Excellent customer service when representing the brand
Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Routine servicing and inspections of HGVs and vans
Diagnosing and repairing faults (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic)
Completing brake, engine, suspension, and gearbox repairs
Preparing vehicles for MOT and ensuring roadworthiness
Maintaining clear documentation and compliance
Keeping the workshop clean, safe, and efficient
