Job Description
HGV Technician – Westbury
Location: Westbury
Salary: £38,000 per annum
OTE: Up to £45,000 (includes overtime paid at time and a half)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday | Shifts: 06:00–14:30 / 13:30–22:00
The Opportunity
We are looking for a qualified HGV Technician to join a busy commercial vehicle dealership in Westbury. You’ll be working in a modern, well-equipped workshop, carrying out repairs and maintenance to keep vehicles roadworthy and safe. This role offers ongoing training and support to help you develop your skills and progress your career.
Key Responsibilities
Perform major and minor repairs on commercial vehicles
Carry out regular inspections and preventative maintenance
Diagnose faults and assist with repair planning
Maintain accurate repair records and paperwork
Conduct wheel alignments and tyre fitting as needed
What You’ll Need
Level 3 qualification in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance (NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI)
Experience with diagnostics and servicing to DVSA standards
Full UK driving licence for relevant vehicle classes
Strong time management skills and attention to quality
