Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join the team based on the Isle of Sheppey. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently and is confident managing their own time and workload.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:

Carrying out maintenance and repairs, primarily on trailers
*
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, including paperwork and organisation
*
Supporting and providing strong guidance to a junior technician already in place, particularly with organisation and admin
*
Contributing to a positive, productive working environment
👥 Who We’re Looking For:
*
An experienced technician, ideally with a background in mentoring or supervising younger staff
*
Someone who is organised, proactive, and capable of taking the lead on site
*
A hands-on problem solver who’s confident managing day-to-day operations
🕒 Hours & Flexibility:
*
Monday to Friday, standard 8-hour days
*
Occasional Saturdays depending on workload
*
Flexible working – you’ll effectively be your own boss, as long as the work is covered
💰 Pay & Benefits:
*
£16–£19 per hour (depending on experience)
*
Overtime paid at 1.5x
*
Company pension scheme
