HGV Technician – Bishop’s Stortford
£45,000 per annum + Overtime (OTE £53,437.50)
Service Van Provided for Work Use
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Location: Bishop’s Stortford
We are working with a well-established and respected business in Bishop’s Stortford that is currently seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join their team. This is a workshop-based role with occasional breakdown support, working on a modern fleet including sidelifters.
The Role Includes:
Servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a fleet of HGVs
Workshop-based with some mobile/out-of-workshop duties
Occasional roadside breakdowns
Involvement with sidelifter and crane equipment (training available)
Salary & Package:
Basic salary up to £45,000 / £21.63 per hour
Overtime available at 1.5x – up to £32.45 per hour
OTE with 5 hours of overtime per week: £53,437.50
Service van provided for work use
28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
Full-time, permanent position
What We’re Looking For:
Ideally Level 3 qualified in HGV or commercial vehicle maintenance
Welding and crane experience would be advantageous
Class CE Licence preferred but not essential
Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and repair skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
