HGV Technician – Straight Day Shifts Location: Oxford
Salary: £42,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday – Straight Day Shifts

The Opportunity A well-established and respected fleet company in Oxford is looking to hire an experienced HGV Technician to join their professional workshop team. This is a full-time, permanent position working straight day shifts with a competitive salary of £42,000.
You’ll be working on a modern, well-maintained fleet in a clean and fully equipped workshop environment, with ongoing support and career development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a range of HGVs in line with DVSA standards
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with all safety and legal requirements
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the fleet remains operational and safeRequirements
NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent qualification)
Previous experience as an HGV Technician or in a similar role
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Full UK driving licence (HGV Class 1 or 2 licence advantageous but not essential)
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipWhat’s On Offer
