Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shifts
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled individual looking for stability, excellent earning potential, and a supportive working environment. You will be carrying out maintenance, inspections, servicing, and repairs on a range of heavy goods vehicles to a high standard, ensuring safety and reliability at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine maintenance, servicing, and MOT preparation on HGVs.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with DVSA standards.
Accurately complete job cards, service sheets, and maintain detailed records.
Work independently and as part of a team to meet workshop targets.Requirements:
Level 3 qualification in HGV or PSV maintenance (or equivalent).
Proven experience as an HGV Technician / Mechanic.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work to deadlines with attention to detail.
Full UK driving licence (HGV licence beneficial but not essential).What’s on Offer:
