HGV Technician (West Thurrock)
Location: West Thurrock
Salary: £53,820 - £64,(Apply online only)
Shifts: Rotating shifts, Mon-Fri 06:00 - 15:30 and 12:30 - 22:00; Saturdays as required
Job Type: Full-time, permanent

We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join our thriving West Thurrock dealership. As a Renault Trucks Main Dealer, you will benefit from personal progression plans, manufacturer-led training, and the opportunity to work within a global brand. This role is ideal for technicians with main dealer experience or skilled HGV technicians with all-round mechanical and diagnostic expertise.
Key Responsibilities of an HGV Technician
Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults using computer-aided diagnostics
Ensure all work meets manufacturer and industry standards
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure workshop efficiency and high-quality service
Skills and Qualifications for an HGV Technician
Essential
Level 3 HGV Technician qualification or equivalent
Proven HGV experience
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Full UK driving licence
Desirable
HGV Class 1 licence
Experience working to main dealer standards
