HGV Technician (Felixstowe)
Location: Felixstowe
Salary: Up to £52,(Apply online only) per year (£25.00 per hour basic plus overtime at £37.50 per hour)
Hours: 40 hours
Job Type: Permanent, full-time

Key Responsibilities of a HGV Technician
Carry out diagnostics and technical fault-finding on heavy goods vehicles
Specify accurate repair solutions and generate works orders
Conduct repairs and maintenance to VOSA standards
Complete time recording and job handovers accurately
Support the team with effective shift handover procedures
Skills and Qualifications for a HGV Technician
Essential
NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
Proven experience as an HGV Technician or Mechanic
Good knowledge of VOSA requirements and MOT testers manual
Understanding of Operator Licence laws and regulations
Ability to diagnose, repair and specify technical solutions
Desirable
Experience with GDS and Impact systems
Knowledge of workshop KPIs and standard times
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
