HGV Technician (Dunstable)
Location: Dunstable
Salary: £48,048 per year plus overtime at time and a half
Hours: 44 hours per week
Shifts: Rotating early and late shifts Monday to Friday with Saturdays as required
Job Type: Full time, permanent

Key Responsibilities of an HGV Technician
Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs to VOSA standards
Using computer aided diagnostics to identify and resolve faults
Working to manufacturer standards in a busy main dealer environment
Completing job cards and service records accurately
Supporting colleagues and mentoring apprentices when required
Skills and Qualifications for an HGV Technician
Essential
Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
Strong diagnostics and fault finding skills
Proven hands on HGV repair and service experience
Full UK driving licence
Desirable
HGV Class 1 licence
Main dealer experience
