Job Description
We are currently seeking a HGV Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive dealership based in the Newport area.
The successful HGV Fitter can expect a salary of up to £40000 with OTE of circa £42000 with working hours of 4 on 4 off shift pattern: 6:00am to 6:00pm.
Our Client is looking for a HGV Technician to join their busy team, this is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.
Benefits:
Starting hourly rate of £20 per hour plus bonuses and overtime.
Overtime, subject to availability, paid at time and a half.
Access to a commitment bonus of £600 per annum, as well as a company profit shared bonus paying £750 per annum.
23 days annual leave plus Christmas and New Year's Day off (If these bank holidays fall on a day off, you shall gain a day off in lieu to compensate).

Full in-house and off-site manufacturer-approved training.

Working hours are a 4 on 4 off shift pattern from 6:00am to 6:00pm. Typical Duties for our client include, but are not limited to:
Servicing, repair and Maintenance of HGVs
Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
Completion of MOT preparationRequirements:
Previous working experience within the role
Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Excellent mechanical knowledge
