HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic
Location: Chorley
Salary: £48,954
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Mon – Fri 7:00am – 5:30pm (Fridays 8:00am – 12:30pm) – 44.5 hours per week
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician to work at a workshop based in Chorley. The role would involve working within a fleet environment and would mainly involve working on bin wagons. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a great work life balance as there are no contractual weekends and every Friday is a half day.

Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs as an HGV Technician on mainly bin wagons
* Diagnose faults and carry out fault-finding on HGVs,
* Ensure all vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
* Maintain a clean and organised workshop
* Prepare vehicles for inspections and MOTs where required
Requirements
* Qualified HGV Technician / Mechanic (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
* Previous experience working on HGVs
* Strong knowledge of HGV servicing, maintenance, and repair
* Right to work in the UK
