HGV Technician
Location: Willenhall.
Shifts: Mon to Thurs 18:00-06:00
Salary: £40,000-£50,000 depending on experience and qualifications

A family run business with over 30 years of commercial vehicle experience, over 430 employees and 19 locations nationally, the company are keen on professional growth of their staff and are always offering additional training and the opportunity to sidestep into other departments within the group. Many of the management within this prestigious company started their careers 2 to 3 decades ago as an Apprentice Technician or within another department, there is always room for growth for people with a good attitude. We are now seeking an experienced HGV Technician as follows:
Role
· Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 48 hours. The shift times are 18:00-06:00.
· Pay rate(s) are £40,000-£50,000
· Overtime rate(s) are Time and a half
· The service, maintenance and repair on the Ferrari of the HGV Commercial Vehicle world
· Join in relevant product training when required
· May need to conduct roadside repairs for customers from time to time
· Working in a state of the art workshop within the depot or VMU
· Good practice of cleanliness and organisation although the site will have a site Cleaner / Maintenance person to assist with this
Candidate
· Must have a can-do attitude, be a team player and possess good time keeping skills (mandatory)
· Will be a great communicator with excellent customer service skills
· Could hold a Cat C or C+E HGV driving licence to drive vehicles for MOT (ideal)
· Should possess a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points on driving licence (mandatory)
· Would be happy to assist with the training of apprentices coming into the business and/or have previous training experience (ideal)
· Might be a time served HGV Technician or HGV Fitter or HGV Mechanic
· Can prove full UK right to work (mandatory)
· Ought to provide steady career history in the form of CV and references
· Must have own tools (mandatory)
· Could have a NVQ L3 or City & Guilds qualification in HGV service, maintenance and repair
