HGV Technician & Team Leader
North Hertfordshire
HGV Technician: £40,000 - £45,000 (inclusive of Saturday)
Team Leader: £45,000 - £55,000 (inclusive of Saturday)
Alecto Recruitment are currently seeking experienced HGV Technicians to join a busy workshop team. There are 2 roles available; Team Leader and HGV Tech. These are hands-on roles working with a variety of commercial vehicles.
The Team Leader role includes additional responsibilities around productivity, team support, and site security.
Key Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience as an HGV Technician
Ideally time-served and with recent hands-on Euro 6 experience
Computer literate and confident using diagnostic equipment such as TEXA or BOSCH
Willing and able to work a rotating shift pattern (details below) and every other Saturday
Team Leader applicants must have solid HGV background and team leadership capability
No relocation or sponsorships provided
Shift Pattern (Rotating Weekly):
Week 1: Monday to Friday: 06:00 - 14:30
Week 2: Monday to Thursday: 13:30 - 22:00 Friday: 11:30 - 20:00
Saturday: 06:00 - 12:00 (every other week)
Team Leader Responsibilities (in addition to technician duties):
Locking up the site at the end of shift
Driving productivity across the team
Providing technical and practical support to other technicians
