Job Description

HGV1 (Class 1 / CE) Driver
 Location: Paisley
 Pay Rate: £16.11 per hour
 Hours: 45 hours per week
 Start Time: 08:00 (scheduled to leave depot around 08:45)

Manpower is currently recruiting for a HGV1 (Class 1 / CE) Driver for an ongoing opportunity based in Paisley. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for consistent work with a well-established logistics operation.

The Role:

You will be responsible for completing a mix of deliveries and collections across a wide area. Routes typically cover Glasgow, Paisley, East Kilbride, and Ayrshire, with around 7-8 drops per day. 
This role requires a professional approach, good time management, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Duties include:

Completing approximately 7-8 deliveries and collections per shift
Covering delivery routes across Glasgow, Paisley, East Kilbride and Ayrshire
Ensuring the security of the vehicle and freight at all times
Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
Driving safely and in line with UK road regulations and tachograph rules
Complying with site and road Health & Safety standards
What We're Looking For

Full, valid HGV1 (Class 1 / CE) licence
Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous HGV1 driving experience preferred
Good knowledge of Central Scotland road networks
Strong reliability, professionalism, and time management
Candidates must be able to pass a Basic Disclosure Scotland check
