Job Description
HGV1 Tramper Driver
Our client, located in Hams Hall, Birmingham, is looking for a HGV1 Tramper Driver to join their impressive site, with the opportunity for a permanent contract
As a HGV1 Tramper Driver your duties will include but not be limited to:
* Collecting your vehicle and carry out deliveries/collections to various site across the country
* Can involve upto 12 drops however the drops are usually within the same local area
* Can involve handball where necessary
* Start times vary between 0400 and 1000
As a HGV1 Tramper Driver there may be occasions where you are expected to drive a rigid vehicle however you will still be paid as a HGV1 Tramper Driver
Benefits of working for my client as a HGV1 Tramper Driver
* Pay rate of £16.25ph (Monday to Friday)
* Pay rate of £21.00ph (Saturday) and £23.00 (Sunday)
* £25 per night out allowance
* Paid parking
* 12 week temp to perm position
* £5 meal allowance (If/when on a permanent basis)
* 50 hour contract (If/when on a permanent basis)
* Driving nearly new curtain/box sided vehicles (The oldest is 3 years old!)
There may also be occasions where you will not need to tramp out and just have the occasional night out during the week/weekend
Due to insurance purposes, Our ideal applicating for this HGV1 Tramper Driver is someone over the age of 25 and helod their HGV1 licence for a minimum of 2 years
