About the Role

A national heating and ventilation company based in Newcastle is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 (HGV2) Driver to join their team. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position offering consistent hours and a structured daily route.

Key Responsibilities

  * Deliver heating and ventilation supplies to:

      * Existing buildings

      * New build construction sites

  * Complete 5–6 drops per day across Tyne & Wear, County Durham, and Cumbria

  * Operate a HGV Class 2 wagon safely and efficiently

  * Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time

  * Adhere to all road safety and site regulations

Working Hours

  * Monday to Friday

  * 07:00 AM – 04:00 PM

Pay & Benefits

  * £14.50 per hour for the first 8 hours

  * £21.75 per hour for any hours worked beyond 8 per day

  * Weekly accrued holiday pay (paid separately, not included in hourly rate)

  * Paid induction prior to starting

Requirements

  * Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence

  * Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DR/DD offences)

  * Previous HGV2 driving experience preferred

  * Ability to attend a paid onsite induction on 22nd May

  * Reliable and professional attitude

  * Access to a mobile phone, laptop, or tablet to complete an online application

Additional Information

Successful applicants will be required to complete a paid induction onsite before commencing deliveries. Following induction, drivers will begin their scheduled routes delivering products across the designated regions.
