Job Description
We are looking for an experienced HGV2 Refuse Driver.
We are looking for someone who has experience driving heavy goods vehicles, experience in local authority or waste industry is a plus!
Skills: Safe driving, attention to detail, following routes, spatial awareness and teamwork
Knowledge: Must know health and safety procedures and we’d like for you to be familiar with local routes, but this is not essential.
Requirements: Must have a full clean driver’s licence, HGV2, Rear steer and experience Refuse driving.
Your responsibilities will include following pre- planned routes and sticking to a schedule, you will be assisted by loaders who will collect the waste. You will also have to transport the waste to a waste facility. To supervise Refuse Collectors working on refuse rounds and other associated operations, ensuring efficiency and safety of operationBefore You Apply
