Elevate projects are working in partnership with our client, a local housing provider, to appoint a Technical Officer with experience of HHSRS to undertake low level disrepair inspections of properties within the portfolio. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to kick-start a career as Building Surveyor within the Housing sector.
Experience Required:
♦ Some relevant experience of working in a building maintenance role and HHSRS is essential.
♦ Experience of working in a diverse environment including liaising with external and internal clients, but most importantly, residents.
♦ Ability to prepare estimates, specifications and contracts (to deadlines).
♦ Be proactive and engaging in relationships with customers and Housing colleagues
♦ Ability to record and monitor any payments made to sub-contractors and apply Schedule of Rates to Sub-contractors work.
♦ Be able to produce spreadsheets, and maintain/update databases.
♦ Able and confident in the production and delivery of presentations to residents and other groups
